The upcoming Oppo Reno16 Pro has surfaced in fresh leaks ahead of its expected global launch, revealing a major camera upgrade along with several flagship-level features. The smartphone recently appeared on certification platforms, confirming that Oppo is preparing for an international release in the coming months.
According to the latest reports, the Oppo Reno16 Pro is expected to feature a powerful 200MP primary camera, marking a significant leap over its predecessor. Leaks also suggest the device could include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, positioning it as one of the strongest camera-focused smartphones in the premium mid-range segment.
The smartphone is rumored to come with a large 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display featuring ultra-thin bezels and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and gaming performance. Oppo may also equip the device with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Battery life is expected to be another major highlight. Reports indicate the Reno16 Pro could pack a huge 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. If true, this would make it one of the largest batteries ever featured in the Reno series.
Leaks further suggest that the phone may feature a premium metal-and-glass design, IP68/IP69 water resistance, stereo speakers, and a customizable hardware shortcut button similar to Apple’s Action Button.
While Oppo has not officially confirmed the complete specifications yet, industry insiders expect the Reno16 series to launch first in China before expanding to global markets, including South Asia, later this year.
