Pakistan has reportedly shot down a total of 77 Indian drones over the past few days, according to a report by PTV News citing security sources. Of these, 29 drones were intercepted by the evening of May 8, while an additional 48 were destroyed overnight.

The drone takedowns come amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, with Islamabad describing the move as a response to ongoing Indian provocations. Security officials stated that Pakistan’s armed forces are delivering a “befitting response” as part of broader defensive efforts to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and national security.
