The Pearl-Continental Hotel in Bhurban has achieved recertification under ISO-22000:2018 and HACCP, two esteemed international standards for food safety management, maintaining 100% compliance for two consecutive years. ISO-22000 is a globally recognized standard that ensures food safety across the supply chain, covering processes from production to consumption with a holistic approach. HACCP, originating from NASA’s collaboration with the Pillsbury Company in the 1960s, is a systematic method for identifying and controlling food safety hazards.

The recertification audit, conducted by TUV Austria, involved rigorous on-site evaluations and thorough examinations of documentation, policies, and procedures. No major or minor non-conformities were found during the assessment, reflecting the team’s unwavering dedication to upholding the highest food safety standards.

Haseeb A. Gardezi, Chief Operating Officer of the Hospitality and Education Division at Hashoo Group, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “Our commitment to excellence in hospitality is reinforced by these accolades, motivating us to strive for even greater achievements in the future.”
