Despite the strained diplomatic climate, Pakistani cricket fans could still enjoy Indian Premier League (IPL) matches through Tapmad—the official IPL streaming partner in Pakistan. The platform continued airing popular games, including the much-anticipated CSK vs SRH match, offering some reprieve to local cricket lovers.

However, this access was short-lived. On Saturday, Tapmad announced it would cease streaming IPL matches in Pakistan. The decision came just a day after Indian broadcasters pulled PSL coverage, clearly indicating a tit-for-tat retaliation.
