The Punjab Board has announced a revised schedule for Intermediate Part One admissions, giving students a short window to submit applications. According to the latest notification, students can apply with a single fee until December 12, while submissions with a late fee will be accepted from December 13 to 22.

The circular, issued on December 5, sets the admission period from December 1 to 12, which means five days have already passed, leaving students with only seven days to complete the process.

Teachers have expressed concern that, after accounting for bank holidays, students effectively have only four working days to submit their applications. Meanwhile, parents argue that paying the standard fee has already become difficult due to inflation, and managing double or triple late fees is nearly impossible.

Parents and teachers have urged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take immediate action, extend deadlines, and provide relief to students who may be unable to meet the tight schedule under current economic pressures.
