The Samsung Ukraine headquarters is attacked

A missile attack from Russia has hit Samsung’s research office in Ukraine. An R&D center and regional headquarters of Samsung for Europe are located in Kyiv, Ukraine, right next to the missile’s landing site

There were a number of people who were injured, as well as serious damage to the building as a result of the incident. Several images and videos have surfaced on Twitter that show a lot of dust and smoke accumulating in the areas that have been affected by the fire. Samsung has not yet responded to a request for comment about the extent of the damage, and it is unclear what the total damage is.

This image shows the aftermath of the attack that took place a few days ago.

In the wake of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, Samsung was one of the many companies that stopped manufacturing its products for sale in the country. Earlier this year, it was announced that the Korean manufacturer of mobile devices would be ceasing to sell smartphones, chipsets, TVs, accessories, and other products in Russia, effective March this year.

With more than 30% of the smartphone industry in Samsung’s pocket, this is a major decision for the company. It was a significant decision given that Russia is a major smartphone market for the company.

There was also a halt to the Korean company’s local production of TVs in Moscow, which is located in the Russian Federation.

Samsung is expected to resume smartphone shipments in the country in October, according to a previous report from a Russian newspaper, but Samsung has not responded publicly to the report about its return to smartphone shipments in the country in October. Therefore, it is unclear as to whether Samsung is going to be able to resume business in the country in the near future.

There are a number of setbacks for Samsung, but the company continues to be the world’s number one smartphone manufacturer, with a significant market share in nearly all regions around the world. There is also a strong display business and chip business within its company that is thriving against major competitors such as LG and TSMC.

A project that is currently being implemented is a 3 nm chip fabrication process for the next generation of smart phones that will be more power efficient and perform better.
