The Senate Standing Committee on Finance, chaired by Senator Saleem Mandviwala, convened today to review key financial matters. During the session, the committee postponed its discussion on the Virtual Assets Authority Bill, opting for further deliberation before moving forward.

Senator Mandviwala raised the question of who would brief the committee on the bill. In response, Minister of State Bilal Kayani clarified that the briefing could be given either by the Finance Minister or the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, Bilal bin Saqib.
