A recent incident involving a senior police officer from the Sindh Police has stirred controversy after he was captured on camera serving tea to politicians at a ceremony hosted by the ruling party in Sindh.

The actions of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) were criticized by Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon, who described them as ‘very wrong’. Memon announced that the officer would be required to provide a written explanation for his conduct.

The Inspector General emphasized that this was an ‘individual act’ by the police officer and assured that appropriate accountability measures would be taken.

The video footage also featured Sindh minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Saeed Ghani among the attendees.

This incident follows a similar viral video where SSP Mirpurkhas Asad Chaudhry was seen serving tea at another PPP function.
