The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has denied social media rumors about a visa ban on Pakistanis. In a video statement, Bakheet Obaid Al-Roumi, the UAE’s Consulate General, refuted these claims, confirming that there is no visa ban for Pakistanis. He assured that the visa section at the UAE consulate remains operational and that Pakistanis can travel to the UAE for work visas without any age restrictions.

In a related development, the Pakistani Foreign Office, on June 7, emphasized the importance of regulated movement across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border through visas. Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that individuals entering Pakistan from Afghanistan must possess a visa and an Afghan passport, stressing the need for adherence to visa regulations at border crossings.

Additionally, on March 7, Italy resumed its visa services in the historic city of Lahore, with plans to expand these services to other major Pakistani cities soon. This announcement was made by Augusto Palmieri, the Italian Embassy’s First Secretary, during a speech at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
