While addressing the business community of Hyderabad,Brian Heath, the General of
US council at Karachi,announced that a new IT park is about to be set in Hyderabad by
The United States. According to a press statement issued by the Hyderabad Chamber of
Commerce and Industry on Saturday. Mr Brian Heath said,”US investors are interested
in investing in Pakistan and they are also watching the country’s situation”.
On the visit,Brian also visited USPakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Water
(USPCASW) at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in
Jamshoro.There h met a delegation of 20 members who are planning on heading to the
US under a research exchange programme with the University of Utah.
USPCASW quoted him as saying.
“We are proud to empower women scientists and researchers in Pakistan to solve its water problems,”
As per the agreement signed between USAID and Pakistan,University of UTAH will
cater semesterlong education and training of 250 faculty and students of MUET.Other
than that he United States is also making ties with UET and NUST for an energy
initiative in Pakistan.
