A Pakistani hacker, Faisal 1337, had recently hacked, Indian Canara Bank’s website. This act is dated to occur on 2nd August. A mysterious page was added to the website by him, which was also an attempt to block up gathered information.But after the act took place the the Reserve Bank suggested the chairman of the canara bank to take an eagle eye on the funds of the bank.
One of the senior representative of the bank stated that:
“We have filed an FIR with the cyber crime department of the police. The bank immediately took note of the attack and isolated the server and diverted the traffic to a standby server. There was no loss As of now we are seeing 20,000 online payment transactions.”
The hacker had totally agreed to the commitment of this act. Fasial even has a past history of attacking Indian websites.
