The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced the banking hours for the holy month of Ramadan, with adjustments to accommodate prayer times. From Monday to Thursday, banks and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with no break. On Fridays, the timing will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., also without a break. However, there will be a prayer break from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this period, banking activities will be temporarily suspended.

After Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the banking hours will automatically revert to their pre-Ramadan schedule. This announcement ensures that banking services continue efficiently while accommodating the observance of Ramadan.
