Turkey has recently suspended all trade relations with Israel, reportedly halting commerce and imposing restrictions on Israeli revenues and imports.

Israel has strongly protested this action, with the Israeli Foreign Minister condemning Turkey’s moves and accusing President Erdogan of violating agreements by closing ports and harbors to Israeli trade.

The Israeli Foreign Minister criticized what he called dictatorial behavior, stating that such actions are expected from dictators, and announced that Israel will seek new trade partnerships and focus on domestic production.

Turkey has not officially announced the termination of trade ties with Israel.

Last month, Turkey imposed restrictions on Israeli products in response to Israel’s ceasefire declaration in Gaza.

The Turkish Ministry of Commerce previously stated that these restrictions would remain until Israel ends hostilities in Gaza and allows unimpeded access for humanitarian aid.
