Samsung has officially announced that the much-anticipated Galaxy M36 will debut on June 27, 2025, at 12 PM IST in India. This upcoming mid-range smartphone features a bold redesign and a host of upgraded specifications, offering both visual appeal and improved functionality.

The most noticeable change is in the rear design. Unlike the triple-camera cutout of the Galaxy M35, the Galaxy M36 adopts a sleek oval-shaped camera module. This new module houses a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 13MP front-facing camera placed in a teardrop notch, replacing the punch-hole design used in its predecessor.

In terms of build, the Galaxy M36 features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, dual 4K video recording, and a slim 7.7mm profile. Samsung’s teasers have confirmed the device will be available in three color options: Velvet Black, Orange Haze, and Serene Green.

On the performance side, the phone is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC and sport a Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution.

Samsung is also introducing new AI-powered features, such as AI Select, Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Circle to Search, all designed to enhance productivity and image editing on the go.

With its combination of style, performance, and AI enhancements, the Galaxy M36 looks set to be a compelling addition to Samsung’s M-series lineup.
