Qatar’s Ooredoo sell Wi-Tribe Pakistan HB Offshore Investment Limited

Qatar’s Ooredoo has announced that its subsidiary wi-tribe has concluded the sale of wi-tribe Pakistan to HB Offshore Investment Limited.
The deal has been made in cash amount of approximately QAR 32.7 million, in line with the carrying value of the asset.
HB Group is well established within the telecommunications sector in Pakistan and is planning to expand further. HB Group is owned by businessman Hassan Bokhari. After telecom deregulation in the UK Bokhari had enjoyed success in the domain of household telecom services. He has made investments in the telecom sector in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
