Qualcomm launches a new flagship version of mobile processor by the name of
Snapdragon 821. It is the changed and latest version of Snapdragon 820. The
Snapdragon 820 was one of the popular and fastest mobile processors of cell
phones since the beginning of this year. But the 821 version is even faster than
Snapdragon 820.
The Snapdragon 821 is having almost the same features as 820, but it shows a
10% increase in performance. The 14 nanometer Snapdragon 821 has got two
efficient Kyro cores that run at a very high speed. It also contains two battery-
savvy Kyro cores that run at a low speed at the time of power saving mode. While
the Snapdragon 820’s CPU runs the cores at 2.2 GHz, the CPU of 821 is more
powerful which runs the high-performance cores at 2.4 GHz.
According to the company, the Snapdragon 821 chip will be available for
smartphones and other devices in the second half of the year 2016.
The Snapdragon 820 has been a popular and fantastic mobile processor
regarding speed, performance, and battery life. It has been used by almost every
Android smartphones like Samsung, HTC, and LG. Now these big giants are
looking forward to the launch of this new flagship mobile processor to add even
