About 131 Pakistani students have been given a chance to facilitate themselves with scholarship from the Chinese government which will give them a chance to proceed with their education at China’s educational institutions. In Chinese embassy, the government of china gave away these scholarships. This was attended by Chinese ambassador Sun Weidong, his wife BaoJiqing, Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination’s Federal Secretary Raja Muhammad Nadir Ali, along with the families of the lucky students.

Pakistan and China are now a days joining hands in various projects likethe Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) .

“With the implementation of projects under CPEC, more and more job opportunities are being created, not just laborers, but also for talented professionals.

“Having been educated in China, and familiar with Chinese technologies and standards, you would have a great competitive edge when facing this kind of opportunity in the coming days. I believe all of you will have a bright future in this regard.”

Like every year, The China Scholarship Council has given away 220 Chinese Government Scholarships to Pakistani students some of which are already studying in China. This year 131 scholarships have been gifted to the students. Almost 107 of the student’s names were given by the Ministry of Inter-provincial Coordination of Pakistan. There are students from Islamabad, Karachi, Gwadar, Gujranwala, Kamalia, Multan, Swat, Mingora, Sargodha, and Dera Ismail Khan.

There are scholarships offered for Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or Advance Training Programs at some of China’s top universities. Subject taken up are Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, International Law, and Journalism.
