Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has declared the recall of its ambassador to Iran in response to what it labels as an “unprovoked violation of its airspace” by Tehran. The FO asserts that Iran’s actions from the previous night constitute a breach of international law and the principles outlined in the Charter of the United Nations.
In addition, Pakistan asserts its right to retaliate against this perceived illegal act, emphasizing that Iran would bear full responsibility for any ensuing consequences. The Pakistani government has communicated its decision to recall its ambassador to the Iranian authorities. Simultaneously, the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, currently in Iran, has been advised to delay their return for the time being.

Furthermore, Pakistan has opted to suspend all ongoing or planned high-level visits between the two nations in the upcoming days. This decision comes in the wake of a late-night statement by the FO, reporting that Iranian strikes within Pakistani territory resulted in the tragic deaths of two innocent children and injuries to three girls. The attack, as per Iranian state media, took place in the border town of Panjgur in Balochistan.
