Speaking informally to the media during his oath-taking ceremony today, Federal Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb acknowledged the economic difficulties Pakistan faced in 2024. He emphasized the need for concrete actions, asserting that mere dialogue would not be sufficient.

Aurangzeb committed to leading Pakistan out of its economic woes, promising a proactive approach. He mentioned plans for a thorough briefing and assessment of the current economic situation within the next two to three days.
While addressing queries about Pakistan’s interactions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Aurangzeb chose not to provide any comments.
