In partnership with the Arfa Karim Foundation, the Punjab University Department of Social Work, Sughra Begum Centre for Education Policy and Development hosted a seminar titled ‘Education, Social Innovation, and Social Development: Arfa Karim’s Dream’ at Al Raazi Hall. The event marked the launch of the Arfa Karim Fellowship program, which aims to grant scholarships to 50 deserving students. This initiative seeks to honor Arfa Karim’s legacy while supporting the educational aspirations of young individuals.

Speakers at the seminar underscored the transformative role of the IT sector in educating out-of-school children. They emphasized how technological advancements can significantly contribute to addressing educational disparities and promoting social development.
