The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has stepped up its efforts to recover outstanding fees by sealing seven commercial properties in Gulshan-e-Ravi.
The operation, spearheaded by TP Zone 1 Director Ayesha Mutahir under the guidance of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, targeted various businesses including medical stores, grocery shops, and private schools.
Ayesha noted that these properties had accrued significant unpaid commercialization fees despite multiple prior notices. She emphasized that the crackdown on defaulters and illegal constructions would persist across the city.
In a related meeting focusing on LDA’s revenue generation, DG Tahir Farooq conducted a thorough review of the Town Planning Wing directors’ performance. Chief Town Planners One and Two presented detailed reports specific to their respective areas.
