A distressing incident unfolded at the National Women’s T20 Tournament as Sadaf Shams and Yusra Amir engaged in a physical altercation with their teammate Ayesha Bilal. Ayesha suffered a nosebleed during the conflict with Sadaf and Yusra. Despite maintaining silence for two days, she eventually filed a complaint against them, prompting the PCB to take action. Tania Malik, the head of Women’s Cricket, is set to visit Rawalpindi to conduct a thorough investigation.
The tournament features six teams representing Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and Rawalpindi. Each team will participate in 10 matches over 17 days, with the top two teams progressing to the final.

The National Women’s T20 Tournament 2024 provides a significant opportunity for female cricketers to showcase their skills and potentially secure a spot in the national team. The championship offers a prize of one million rupees for the winning team, while the runner-up will receive 0.5 million rupees. The tournament’s most outstanding player stands to earn 50,000 rupees, and the best player in each match will receive 20,000 rupees. Additionally, the tournament will acknowledge the best batter, bowler, and wicketkeeper with individual awards of 25,000 rupees each.
