Pakistan’s electric vehicle sector received a major boost after Evee officially launched its new Giga Factory, marking a significant step toward expanding locally manufactured electric mobility solutions across the country.

The newly inaugurated facility is designed to accelerate production of electric two-wheelers while promoting Pakistan-made innovation and sustainable transportation. According to the company, the factory has the capacity to produce up to 750 electric scooters daily, with a new unit assembled approximately every 90 seconds.

Evee stated that the project is focused on delivering “independent mobility for all” by making electric transportation more accessible, affordable, and reliable for everyday consumers in Pakistan. The launch event was attended by leading figures from the automotive, technology, and business sectors, highlighting growing momentum within Pakistan’s EV industry.

The company says the factory will also create new employment opportunities while strengthening the local electric vehicle ecosystem through advanced manufacturing and localized production. Industry observers believe the expansion could help reduce dependence on imported fuel-powered bikes and support Pakistan’s transition toward cleaner mobility solutions.

Evee has increasingly positioned itself as one of Pakistan’s emerging EV brands, particularly in the electric scooter market. Recent teasers from the company also hinted at next-generation scooters using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology for improved safety, battery life, and charging performance.

The launch comes at a time when Pakistan’s government and private sector are pushing for greater adoption of electric transportation through incentives, infrastructure development, and localized manufacturing policies. Analysts believe affordable EV solutions could play a major role in reducing fuel costs, lowering emissions, and modernizing urban mobility across the country.
