Everything You Need to Know About the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro

The 14T Pro, offering a more premium experience with 12 GB RAM and a substantial 512 GB storage, is expected to retail for €899. While the leaks have provided a glimpse into their specifications, it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will offer additional RAM and storage configurations for these models.

The 14T will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, whereas the 14T Pro will be equipped with the more advanced Dimensity 9300+. However, the choice of the Dimensity 9300+ for the 14T Pro is somewhat disappointing, given that the next-generation MediaTek flagship, the Dimensity 9400, is anticipated to launch in October.

Both models will be available in the same color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. It is currently unclear whether these color names imply actual titanium in the phone’s frames or if they are merely aesthetic designations.

In terms of display, both the 14T and 14T Pro will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1220 x 2712, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 4,000-nit peak brightness. The 14T’s main camera will utilize a Sony IMX906 sensor measuring 1/1.56″, complemented by a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The 14T Pro’s main camera will upgrade to a larger 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor with 2x “optical equivalent” zoom, while retaining the same telephoto and ultrawide lenses as the 14T. Both devices will feature a 32MP selfie camera. A 5,000 mAh battery is expected, though details on charging technology are not yet available.

The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will run on Android 14 with HyperOS and offer IP68-rated water and dust resistance.
