Safa Afzal to Lead Karachi Team
Safa Afzal will captain the Karachi women’s basketball team during the championship, which departed for Lahore on Tuesday with high hopes of making a significant impact. Hareem Zahid will serve as vice-captain, providing leadership support. The team will be managed by Ghulam Mohammad, with Azeem-us-Shaan serving as the coach.

Tournament Format and Pool Division
The championship will feature eight top teams from across the country, divided into two pools:
- Pool A: Defending champions Wapda, Karachi, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur
- Pool B: Pakistan Army, Lahore, Islamabad, Hazara
Each day will feature four matches, with the semi-finals set for December 29 and the grand final on December 30.
