OPPO has unveiled its new Reno 15 series, comprising the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, packed with upgraded hardware, powerful chipsets, and vastly improved camera systems.
Design & Display
-
The standard Reno 15 features a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, making it highly readable in daylight.
-
It sports a sturdy metal frame and carries certifications for IP66, IP68, and IP69, meaning it’s dustproof, water-resistant, and can handle high-pressure jets.
-
The Pro model steps up to a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and similarly bright peak output.
-
It also has a premium build with the same durability ratings, and it weighs around 205 g.
Performance & Software
-
Both phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which promises strong performance for multitasking and demanding apps.
-
Connectivity-wise, they support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
-
They ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing refined animations, new privacy tools, and OPPO’s AI enhancements.
Camera Setup
-
The Reno 15 series uses a triple rear-camera system: a 200 MP main sensor (with OIS), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens (3.5× zoom), and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens.
-
On the front, there’s a 50 MP selfie camera that supports autofocus.
