Despite Australia’s efforts, they couldn’t exert much pressure on the Pakistani team, managing to score only three goals.

Unfortunately, Pakistan’s dreams of reaching the quarter-finals in the Hockey5s World Cup were shattered on Monday, as they suffered an 8-7 defeat against Poland. The Green Shirts needed just a draw against Poland in Pool A to secure a spot in the quarter-finals, but they couldn’t capitalize on the opportunity.

In Sunday’s matches, Pakistan started their campaign strongly by defeating Nigeria 11-5, but later faced a setback with a 5-3 loss against the Netherlands.

Looking ahead, Pakistan is set to compete in the 9th-10th place match, where they will face the winner of the Switzerland vs. New Zealand match. The victorious team in this encounter will claim the Challenger Trophy.
