Sindh Approves New Grading System for Matric and Intermediate Exams
Sindh’s education authorities have approved a new grading system for both matriculation and intermediate examinations aimed at bringing more clarity and fairness to student assessment. Under the reformed structure, students will receive letter grades (A, B, C, etc.) instead of traditional marks, aligning the provincial system with international education standards and providing clearer evaluation of overall performance.
The new policy is expected to help students better understand their academic standing, support fair comparison across schools, and reduce pressure related to minor mark differences. It also seeks to standardize results reporting and make transitions to higher education smoother for learners.
