This news is positive news for potential buyers who are looking forward to the release of the Galaxy S23, according to wccftech. It has been reported that Samsung is planning to finish a 128GB version of the phone in 2023. Apparently, the RAM configuration and internal storage configuration details have been shared. We would like to discuss this latest rumor in more detail in the following paragraphs.

Unfortunately, Samsung does not seem to be planning on adding more RAM to any of the Galaxy S23 models in the near future.

Based on the newly shared information by Ahmed Qwaider, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will all offer 256GB of internal storage as part of their base models. For the foreseeable future, this means that the Korean giant will only be selling models with 128GB of storage. There is a chance that the decision was made to give Samsung an edge over Apple and its Chinese rivals, who are outpacing Samsung by offering smartphones with more features at a lower price than what Samsung was offering before.

Interestingly, if you open the tweet, it appears as though the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus will only be available in one configuration; 8GB of RAM and 256GB of RAM. The importance of having a variety of color configurations from a business point of view is that it reduces the pressure on Samsung’s resources, since the company will have to devote more resources to its supply chain in order to manufacture these units.
