The Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments and Garrisons) Directorate, under the Ministry of Defence, has announced 207 new vacancies for teaching and non-teaching staff in schools and colleges across Pakistan. The openings are available to candidates from all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Teaching Posts
The majority of positions are for Elementary School Teachers (EST):
- EST – Male (BPS-14): 121 seats
- EST – Female (BPS-14): 71 seats
Applicants must hold a 16-year degree in any discipline. A B.Ed. degree is not mandatory for eligibility.
Other Positions
Additional vacancies include:
- Librarian (Male, BPS-15): 1 seat
- Library Assistant (Male, BPS-09): 2 seats
- Assistant Librarian (Male, BPS-09): 8 seats
- Band Master (Male, BPS-06): 1 seat
- Sewing Mistress (Female, BPS-06): 3 seats
Age Limits
- BPS-14 & BPS-15: 20–35 years (with relaxation as per rules)
- BPS-06 & BPS-09: 18–30 years (with relaxation as per rules)
Application Procedure
- Applications must be submitted online only at induction.fgei.gov.pk.
- Applicants must upload all required documents at the time of submission.
- Roll number slips must be downloaded from the website and presented at the test center.
- Hard copies will not be accepted.

Written Test Centers
The written test will be conducted in:
- Peshawar
- Rawalpindi
- Lahore
- Multan
- Karachi
- Quetta
Age Relaxation Policy
Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with government rules (3–15 years depending on the category). Each candidate will only be eligible for relaxation under one category.
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews based on their written test performance.
- At the interview, applicants must present original academic documents.
- Government employees must apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
