Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched two groundbreaking mobile-learning initiatives aimed at transforming access to education in underserved regions of the province. The new programs, titled “School on Wheels” and “Library on Wheels,” utilize solar-powered e-rickshaws equipped with collapsible chairs and solar roofs to bring learning directly to the doorsteps of rural and peri-urban communities.

The “School on Wheels” initiative focuses on providing primary education and creative learning activities, especially in areas where access to schools is limited. Meanwhile, the “Library on Wheels” delivers storybooks, educational toys, and art supplies to children in regions that lack permanent library facilities.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that these efforts are part of her government’s broader strategy to enhance literacy rates and ensure educational inclusion across Punjab. By taking learning to remote areas, these mobile programs aim to bridge the gap in educational resources and opportunities.
