In Kurram, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, four individuals, including a woman, lost their lives on Sunday as unidentified gunmen opened fire. The incident occurred near Sada Bazaar, where a passenger coach and a car were targeted, resulting in the deaths of two security personnel, a driver, and a woman. The vehicles were en route from Parachinar to Peshawar.

Muhammad Imran, the District Police Officer (DPO) of Kurram, reported that the assailants carried out the indiscriminate attack. Efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators, and security measures in the area have been heightened in response to the incident.

A similar event took place last week on December 31 in the Hangu district of K-P, where terrorists attacked a passenger coach. A vigilant passenger, armed with a handgun, thwarted the assailants, causing them to flee. According to police reports, the terrorists ambushed a Parachinar-bound coach, targeting its tires and compelling it to come to a stop.
