The Pakistan Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia will remain closed for two days due to upcoming public holidays. The closure will take place on December 25 and 26, 2025, coinciding with Quaid-e-Azam’s Birthday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

During this period, consular services such as visa processing, passport assistance, and other routine functions will be unavailable. Travelers and visa applicants who require services from the mission are advised to plan accordingly and avoid visiting the consulate on the specified days.

Quaid-e-Azam’s Birthday is observed nationally in Pakistan, and Christmas and Boxing Day are widely observed holidays in Australia, prompting the consulate’s  temporary closure. Normal operations are expected to resume following the public holiday period.
