The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced a Temporary Mobile Registration System to help overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors register their mobile devices. This system allows travelers to register their mobile phones for free, providing them with up to 120 days of uninterrupted connectivity during each visit to Pakistan.

The registration process is fully digital, ensuring a hassle-free experience without the need for physical office visits. It is completely free of charge, with no duties, taxes, or fees required by PTA for mobile use during the visitors’ stay.

To register their mobile phones, visitors must use the official Device Registration System (DRS) portal. The online process simplifies registration and ensures easy access to mobile services for travelers throughout their stay in Pakistan.
