The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has officially released the date sheet for the Class 8 Annual Examinations 2026 across the province of Punjab. The exams are scheduled to take place in March 2026, covering major core subjects over four days.
Exam Schedule and Timings
According to the announced timetable, the Class 8 annual exams will begin on March 9, 2026, and continue through March 12, 2026. All papers will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The subject-wise schedule is as follows:
- March 9 (Monday): Mathematics
- March 10 (Tuesday): Urdu
- March 11 (Wednesday): English
- March 12 (Thursday): Science
Other subjects will be conducted by respective schools under the School-Based Assessment (SBA) system, with schools sharing their own detailed schedules.
Important Instructions for Students
Students are required to arrive at their examination centers at least 30 minutes before the start of the paper. Strict instructions have been issued to maintain discipline and transparency during exams.

The following items are not allowed inside the examination hall:
- Mobile phones
- Smart watches
- Calculators
- Any electronic devices
Candidates must bring their B-Form and roll number slip for verification. Students should carry a blue or black ballpoint pen and a clipboard. For the Mathematics exam, a geometry box is permitted.
Only the officially provided answer booklet will be accepted, and students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the paper concludes.
Result Announcement
The authority is expected to announce the Class 8 annual exam results on March 31, 2026, following the completion of marking and evaluation.
