Before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, smartphone giant Samsung was involved in the news as it was suggested that the series might actually come a bit later than expected due to the fact that there was excessive demand, however, not the tools to meet the demand. Now though, it seems that Samsung perhaps might have underestimated the demand with respect to its tablets, as yet again, the brand finds itself in the position where it is struggling to meet demand.

Indeed the more recent reports are now suggesting that the South Korean giant has gone on to pause the pre orders with respect to its recently released Galaxy Tab S8 as well as its Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in the US. And while the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is still available for pre order, it is expected to run out of stock soon as well.

On the matter then, Samsung has actually come out by claiming : “We are thrilled by the consumer response to our new Galaxy Tab S8 lineup. Due to overwhelming demand in the last 48 hours, we will be pausing preorders at Samsung.com for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S8. We are working quickly to meet consumer excitement and demand. Please stay tuned for more updates.”

Of course when one considers the fact that the Galaxy Tab S8 series is indeed Samsung’s only tablet release since August of 2020, it comes as no surprise that the tablets are indeed selling like hot cakes. Add the fact then that they carry rather major updates over the last generation tablets such as the super low latency S Pen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and also of course the 14-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x Display on the Tab S8 Ultra variant, and it comes as no surprise that they’re selling like crazy.
