Saudi fast-food chain Albaik is set to launch branches in major cities across Pakistan soon, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan announced in Jeddah on Saturday.

During his visit to Albaik’s facilities, the minister met with Pakistani employees and discussed the brand’s expansion plans. Albaik confirmed that it is in the final stages of establishing a presence in Pakistan after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The announcement was made during the first-ever Made in Pakistan exhibition, where discussions focused on business collaborations, investment opportunities, and Saudi brands entering the Pakistani market.

Albaik’s expansion is expected to create jobs and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The minister acknowledged the contributions of Pakistani workers to Saudi businesses and emphasized Albaik’s potential to boost Pakistan’s fast-food industry.

In a separate meeting with top Saudi businessmen, the minister encouraged investment in Pakistan’s energy, agriculture, IT, healthcare, infrastructure, and consumer goods sectors. He highlighted Pakistan’s 22% export growth to Saudi Arabia, which has reached $700 million, and assured investors of a favorable business environment with tax incentives and legal protections.

Saudi businessmen have shown interest in collaborating with Pakistan in the construction materials, textiles, and food industries.
