Vivo’s upcoming smartphone cameras to be powered by Zeiss

Smartphone manufacturing giants who hail from China, Vivo have just informed their peers of their new partnership with one of the most famous German optics manufacturer Carl Zeiss AG (Branded as ZEISS) for their upcoming line of smartphone devices. Camera performance is easily one of the best features that can be put inside of a smartphone nowadays and many smartphone OEMs are progressively looking to enhance the quality of the pictures captured by their devices.
In addition, Vivo has also brought in innovation in their smartphone cameras, the most notable innovation in recent times is probably the Gimbal Camera housed on the new X50 Pro. The phone features a camera setup that which performs extremely well in low light conditions giving you an pretty good photography experience and even better stabilization for videos. Now with the addition of the ZEISS technology, Vivo smartphone cameras shall see a significant improvement in the overall quality of the pictures users will capture on Vivo smartphones.
ZEISS has previously worked along with Nokia for creating phones that pack amazing photography capabilities. The phones that have thus far featured the ZEISS lens include phones such as, Nokia 808 PureView and Lumia 1020. The Nokia PureView 808, which has a 41-megapixel image sensor, was one of the best works from ZEISS as many people were able to capture images that showed amazing detail.
It is also worth noting here that many rumors have suggested that the ZEISS partnership shall be exclusive to Vivo now as the German manufacturer won’t license their products to any other smartphone brands such as Nokia or Sony anymore. However, there is no official word on this subject thus far, but it would make a lot of sense though. In contrast, as official announcement for the Vivo partnership is expected to happen in a day and we may see the first Vivo-ZEISS product by the end of this month in China and hopefully in Pakistan by the first quarter of the new year so stay tuned.
