The tech giant, Google is showing it’s support of gender equality through its new
feature, “female emojis ” that empower women.Working with Unicode, Google came up
with emoji’s that show women in different careers that women take up all over the
world, from doctors to singers to farmers.And to show Google is “racismfree” the emoji’s
come in different skin tones.T he total number of variants of the new emoji totaled over a
100.Google said it is also working on bringing female equivalents of the existing 33
emoji’s as well.Soon these new women empowering emoji’s will be available on
android and other google platforms.
According to Google, this is a move taken to “empower young women ”
