The Moto X40 is expected to be announced by Motorola in China within the next few days. It will be one of the first phones to be powered by Qualcomm’s mobile platform Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, one of the recently released processors. In the global market, it is anticipated that the same device will be available under the Motorola Edge 40Pro moniker in the beginning of next year. In a statement made prior to launching the X40, Chen Jin, vice president and general manager of Lenovo’s Mobile Division, revealed the device’s AnTuTu score.

Score higher than Dimensity 9200 on AnTuTu benchmark for Moto X40

There will be a direct competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from MediaTek: the Dimensity 9200. An amazing 1,266,1012 was discovered by AnTuTu in a recent report about the D9200’s performance. Chen Jin posted a screenshot of the Android 7.0 Nougat app on his Instagram account, showing that he obtained a higher score (1,312,901) on the upcoming Moto X40 handset, which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Considering there isn’t a huge difference between the benchmark scores of the SD8G2 and the D9200 chips, it may appear that the SD8G2 chips may offer a small edge over the D9200 chips in terms of performance.
