As a result of a long waiting period, Morris Garages (MG) Motors Pakistan has finally announced that bookings will begin on 12 December 2022 for the locally assembled MG HS, now known as the HS Essence.

The following are the booking date, price, and feature details for the Locally Assembled MG HS

There has been a lot of interest in the automotive community following the announcement, as previously there were only fully imported completely built-up (CBU) units of the MG HS that were available on the market. Within a few months, citizens will be able to see MG HS’s Complete Knockdown (CKD) vehicles dubbed as “MG HS Essence,” roaming the roads after MG HS’s Complete Knockdown (CKD) vehicles have been released.

Difference Between Locally-Assembled MG HS Vs Imported MG HS

In the Pakistani CKD version, MG Motors Pakistan has disabled two features of the car, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Intelligent Speed Assist System, while the feature of the MG Pilot remains intact. The MG HS Essence has been updated with a Pakistani map, which is an interesting addition by the automaker.

In addition to these features, the locally assembled variant is equipped with all the other features as-is.

The company has stated that it made this decision as a result of reviewing customer feedback from approximately 10,000 MG HS (CBU) customers who provided feedback about the disabled features.
